Baby Shower

My aunt Brenda and cousin Laura hosted a very special baby shower for me and baby Jack this past Sunday. It was so neat that ALL of my lady cousins and aunts from both sides (Jackelen and Orton) were able to make it! It was amazing!! Jack and I are so blessed and lucky to have such a loving supportive family!!

Thank you everyone for making it such a special day for us!! And a special thanks to Brenda and Laura for hosting it! ;-)

31 Weeks

29 Week Baby Bump

28 Week Dr. Appointment

We had our 28 week Dr. Appointment yesterday and it went great! At this point in pregnancy, the doctor usually wants to start seeing you every two weeks, but he said with me he didn't need to see me until another 4 weeks since things were going so well! So, my next appointment is October 8th and I'll be almost 32 weeks at that point.

Jack's heartbeat: 133 bpm
Mommy's belly: 27 centimeters

Jack continues to be active as can be! His head is on my right hand side and his legs are on my left hand side. He often picks his butt up and sticks it up in the air so my belly button pops out and it makes me look like I have a cone shaped belly!! It's so funny ;-)

I'll try and post some new pics of my belly over the weekend!

4D Ultrasound

We scheduled a 3D/4D Ultrasound at Enlightened Imaging in Woodbury on Saturday and invited our family along for a sneak peak of Jack. It was so fun to share this experience with our family right in the room with us. Here are a few pics of what we seen of our handsome little boy. We have been enjoying these photos all weekend and keep picking out different features....for sure we think he has his Daddy's mouth/lips! It will be fun to compare these photos when he's actually born to see if he's changed any. ;-) He's so sweet and precious...this sneak peak has made me so anxious!! I can't wait to hold him in my arms!
