Ultrasound Pics!

We just got back from our first appointment and everything went well. We got our first "sneak peak" at Baby Millhouse and he/she measured at 8 weeks 3 days and his/her heartbeat was 164 beats per minute. Baby Millhouse appeared to be very healthy and active. One thing the doc seen during the ultrasound was a cyst on my ovary. He said this was pretty common during pregnancy and not to worry. He had me schedule another appointment four more weeks out on May 27th with the ultrasound technician to make sure the cyst hasn't grown but they usually will disappear on their own. I will publish new ultrasound pics May 27th!

Chinese Gender Predictor Chart

This chart - found in an ancient royal tomb near Beijing is said to be over 90% accurate in predicting your baby's gender! I found this interesting chart on the bump.com. To obtain results, you enter your age and the month of conception and then it gives you results. Looks like we might be welcoming a baby BOY into this world come December! All you mom's out there should check this chart for accuracy!!

Week 8 - Raspberry

Baby Millhouse is now 5/8 of an inch long, about the size of a raspberry! Baby Millhouse is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though I can't feel it yet, Baby Millhouse is moving it's little arms, legs, webbed fingers and toes like crazy.

Week 7: Blueberry

This week, all the baby websites are using a blueberry to describe the size of Baby Millhouse. Baby's brain is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.
